One way to get children to eat their fruits and vegetables is to make a fruit and vegetable smoothie. It’s healthy, and it’s also tasty. Adults will also enjoy.
Recipe Content – all Organic:
- 2 cups chopped leafy green vegetable…Romaine, Collard, Spinach, Kale, or any other leafy green veggie
- 1 ripe banana diced
- 6-8 medium strawberries sliced
- 1 mango diced
- 2 kiwis diced
- 1 cup Coconut Milk
- ¼ cup Organic Raw Honey
- Small pinch of Sea salt
- Add water for consistency
Preparation:
Add ½ cup Coconut Milk to blender. Blend the vegetables until smooth. Add the rest of the Coconut Milk. Add the remaining ingredients, and add water based on how thick or watery you want the smoothie. Blend everything until smooth. Add more honey if required.
Pour out the smoothie on to various containers and freeze them. Remove from freezer and place them in the frig for about 2-3 hours, or until you can spoon out the smoothie easily.
The children will love it. They will think it’s ice cream.
