Lose Weight & Look Younger While Eating Your Favorite Indian Foods
You have been complaining about how you look and feel for the longest. You once told me that you don’t like what you see in the mirror. You also said that you would do almost anything to improve how you look. I found a place that would help you look younger and feel stronger. You will also lose weight in the process. You don’t even have to spend much money.
Jerry and I have been going to this place for the past six months. I had to convince him to go. Jerry is not vegetarian, as you already know. After Jerry had tasted the food, I didn’t have to do much convincing. He would just suggest that we go there. I had a dish, and I swear that I was eating those chips that you love so much. It was crunchy, and I couldn’t stop eating it. It was a spicy wrap made of lentil and rice, stuffed with smashed sweet potatoes. You have a choice of spicy or non-spicy foods.
Some of your favorite dishes are on the menu. For example, they serve Mixed Veggie Pakora, which is mixed veggies dipped in Chickpeas. Ooh! Brings back memories. I had a barbecue at my house four years ago, and I served a dish with Chickpeas. You kept asking me for the recipe. Well, the Mixed Veggie Pakora is the same dish that I had served four years ago. You are going to love this particular dish.
Here is another dish that I know you will love. This dish is called Paneer Pakora, which is homemade cheese dipped in chick peas, flour fritters. Ha! Cheese, cheese, glorious cheese! You love your cheese dishes. The Paneer Pakora melts in your mouth after tasting the cheese.
I have one more dish to share with you. The dish is called Pakora (regular), made with onion, spinach, and Chickpeas, flour fritters. It’s got onions and Chickpeas in it. I can taste it right now. You have all these choices from which to choose, and many more. I know your mouth is watering right now. I am anticipating a phone call right after you have finished reading this letter.
You know how much I used to weigh. When you saw me the other day, you told me that I looked like I had lost some weight. Well, guess what? I got rid of the weight from regularly eating at “House of Dosas.” You too can lose weight eating there on a regular basis.
Picture yourself in those size six jeans you were admiring four days ago. Do you remember that skin tight, light blue top? You said that it would go perfectly with those jeans.
Once you keep eating at the “House of Dosas,” you will lose the weight that you have been trying to lose. You can take that bike out of the shed that has been gathering dust and go bike riding with me. Nothing is standing in your way.
You have told me many times that you want to get your figure back. Now is the time to do it. You will look younger and feel stronger. You keep telling me that I haven’t aged much. What’s stopping you from reversing your age? You too can look younger by eating at “House of Dosas.”
Remember when you told me how those construction guys used to stare and whistle at you? Although you hated it, you secretly said to me that you would do anything to get those stares and whistles again. Now is your chance to get back into shape. Stop moping around and get out of the house.
Here is a little secret that I haven’t told you. I lost 20 pounds from eating at “House of Dosas.”
You know, Brown University did research on being a vegetarian. They said that when you eat a vegetarian diet, you have a smaller chance of getting
• Heart Disease
• High Blood pressure
• Colorectal, Ovarian, and Breast Cancers
If you are worried about getting proper nutrition, the Brown University research also said that you can get your regular dose of vitamins from eating vegetarian foods. You can still get your Calcium, Protein, Vitamin D, and Iron.
Check out the reviews that I found from some very satisfied customers:
“Amazing! Some of the best Indian food Ive had in Long Island at a great price. Love the Kadai Paneer, and the Bhel Puri is fresh and well done. Im a huge fan of their Masala tea and the service is polite and efficient. You really cant go wrong eating here, the Dosas are superb and Im not even a big Dosa eater :)”~Sonia t.
“Have come here twice now when visiting Long Island, and haven’t found fault with it. The menu is extensive, but I generally go for the same old butter masala dosa — which they make perfectly. The service is friendly and prompt, and even when every table in the restaurant is full, the wait time is not too long. The desserts are small in size but still tasty. The paneer pakoras are more pakora than paneer, which I wasn’t a huge fan of but they still tasted good, were freshly fried, and not too oily.
This is a good, casual restaurant to come to when you’re craving dosa or any other South Indian food.” ~Punya N.
“In all of Long Island this is my favorite Indian restaurant. Everything is affordable for anyone on a budget yet into great food. I moved down south for a few years and I really missed this place. Came back and they started to renovate and expand! So happy they’re doing SO WELL!
Anything you get you’d be happy with. Portions are large, delicious, most things are fried but are not greasy or heavy. There are plenty of spicy things to choose, same for people into non spicy. You HAVE to get the Mango Lassi it’s awesome.” ~Matty M.
“House of Dosas” serves foods on silver plates and beverages in silver mugs. I have never been to a restaurant like this before. I couldn’t figure out why they served meals on silver wares, so I did some digging.
You are not going to believe this. There are many health benefits from eating out of silverwares
• Boosts immunity
• Keeps water fresh and purifies the water
• Cools down the body
According to Charles Spence, a professor of experimental psychology, at Oxford University, eating with silverwares make the food taste better.
Remember when we were growing up, our grandma use to tell our moms to make sure to serve the children with silver spoons? I guess there is some truth to it after all.
You once told me that you love Indian food. Your birthday is coming up. I have the perfect excuse to invite you out to dinner. The food is cheap and plentiful. You can share one plate of food without going broke.
What do you say? How about we meet up for dinner on Friday at 6 PM? You love to go out on Fridays.
The staff is very attentive, and you don’t have to wait long for your food. If someone sees you staring away from your table too long, a waiter would come over and ask if you need assistance.
“House of Dosas” location is right off the highway, and it’s very easy to find.
P.S. They are having a special this Friday. If we get there at 5:30 PM, we get the first drink free and one free appetizer.
